Reading the Work

Helping communities coordinate supply needs when networks are unreliable

Loopvine wanted to support neighborhood groups that coordinate supplies, volunteer availability, and local help during storms, outages, and other moments when connectivity can be inconsistent. Existing tools worked well when everyone was online, but they failed at the exact moment community coordination became most important.

Wolfcrest & Co. designed a resilient exchange concept that could cache requests, synchronize updates when service returned, and make supply needs easy to verify. Organizers could prioritize urgent requests, avoid duplicated effort, and keep a record of what had been promised or delivered.

The concept reframed Loopvine around practical local resilience. It gave community partners a way to coordinate help with less confusion and gave product leaders a grounded roadmap for building trust into low-connectivity workflows.

  3. TransferUrgent community needs were easier to prioritize during outages

Artifacts

Interface concepts from the operating model.

The screens demonstrate places where status, ownership, risk, or context could become easier for a team to read. They are not asserted as production client artifacts.
