Reading the Work
Making repair status easier to understand for everyone involved
Keystone Habitat needed a clearer way to manage housing repair requests across residents, field inspectors, contractors, and program administrators. Requests were easy to submit but harder to track, especially when inspections, funding approval, materials, and contractor availability all affected timing.
Wolfcrest & Co. designed a repair coordination experience that organized each request by status, dependency, location, urgency, and next owner. Residents could understand what was happening without calling for every update, while staff could identify stalled work before it became a larger service issue.
The new workflow helped Keystone Habitat create a more transparent repair journey. Program teams gained better reporting on bottlenecks, contractors had clearer scopes, and residents received more consistent communication from intake through completion.
