Reading the Work

Helping platform leaders see which access decisions needed attention

Cloudward's customers were managing many cloud accounts, teams, and temporary exceptions, but access reviews were still handled through fragmented reports and manual follow-up. Platform leaders needed a way to understand which permissions were intentional, which had drifted, and which needed a clean expiration path.

Wolfcrest & Co. designed an access governance workspace that combined account ownership, permission age, exception reasons, and review history. The experience helped teams focus on decisions that created the most operational risk instead of combing through every role assignment with the same urgency.

The work helped Cloudward position governance as part of everyday platform operations. Customers could reduce access drift, explain exceptions, and prepare for reviews without turning every audit into a special project.

After Launch

Leave the Team Able to Run It

  • Decision language the client team could reuse after launch.
  • Workflow instrumentation that made improvement visible.
  • A practical handoff model for the people closest to the work.
